Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is an exciting and new technology for skin rejuvenation, correction of sun damage, improvement of skin tone and reduction of pore size. A treatment session with Intense Pulsed Light, IPL, is commonly called "Photofacial" or "Fotofacial". A Photofacial is delivered over a 30-45 minute session and is concluded with a special soothing mask that gives an incredible spa twist to this superb treatment!
Rosacea & Facial Veins
IPL PhotoFacial offers an unsurpassed treatment solution to facial redness, facial veins and spider veins.
IPL PhotoFacials are the treatment of choice for sun damage. Treatments can be combined with exfoliation procedures such as chemical peels and/or microdermabrasions (when appropriate) to yield even better results.
For some patients we use our IPL systems to remove hair and to treat small varicose veins and spider veins on face. Treatments are efficient and effective. They can be delivered on the same day as laser treatments using our Sciton laser.
IPL can also be made to reduce stubborn acne and to greatly diminish skin redness associates with the skin inflammation from acne. In as little as 3-5 sessions your face may return to its natural skin color and part with the unwanted facial redness.
Stretch Marks and Acne Scars
IPL is also very effective in removal of redness from acne scars and stretch marks. We often use IPL in combination with PhotoDynamic Levulan Therapy with BLU-U. Skin rejuvenation with Levulan and IPL offer fast and extremely affordable solution for people looking for results.
